Generally, the filter paper of ******* filter element has uniform color and flat paper surface; The color of inferior filter paper is not uniform, the paper surface is hairy and the texture is very poor.
Second, look at the colloid of the filter element
Nowadays, the structure of filter element is generally composed of filter paper and rubber, and the colloid of true and false filter elements is also different. The rubber texture of genuine filter element is good and elastic, while the rubber of fake filter element is soft and poor. The easier way to distinguish is to fold the air filter element in half, and the ****** filter element will be restored to its original state soon after loosening. However, due to the rubber texture problem, the fake filter element is not well bonded to the filter paper, and the mark in the middle of the fold is obvious.
In addition: some marks can be adopted, such as imported with linear pattern. Of course, some domestic ones can be imitated, but careful observation is different.
As we all know, the ****** grade used in the water purifier is PP filter element, also known as melt blown pp. the material is polypropylene (PP material), which is mainly used to filter various harmful impurities with a diameter greater than 1 micron in tap water, organic pollution, mineral impurities, etc. because it has no sewage function, its service life is generally 3-6 months, so the filter element should be replaced regularly, otherwise it will cause secondary pollution, Water quality cannot be guaranteed. It can be divided into 10-40 inches according to the scope of use, and can be customized according to special requirements, density, length and weight. First look at the density. According to the difference of pore size, PP can be divided into 1um and 5um. Then look at the weight of about 100g and 110g. The pore size cannot be recognized by naked eyes, and the weight and touch can be distinguished by hand. The quality of the filter element directly affects the quality and filtering effect of the water purifier, so the commonly used 1 micron and 5 micron are generally the best choice. At the same time, because PP cotton filter element is generally used in the first three levels, it must be replaced regularly, otherwise it will affect the service life of RO membrane and TDS value of effluent quality.
Is the PP cotton filter hard or soft? In fact, the density is high and firm, which means that the compressibility is also high, and the filtration accuracy and service life are longer. However, the soft PP may disperse after the water pressure is high or the service time is long, resulting in the decline of filtration and affecting the normal operation of RO machine. Therefore, the quality of the whole water purifier can be fundamentally improved only with PP with advantages in quality and price.
service life:
Depending on the raw materials used, the service life of the filter element will be different. With the extension of service time, impurities in water will block the filter element, and the activated carbon filter element will be adsorbed and saturated. Therefore, generally speaking, the PP filter element needs to be replaced in 3 months, while the activated carbon filter element needs to be replaced in 6 months. Since the hollow fiber cannot be cleaned, it is generally placed at the back end of PP cotton and activated carbon, otherwise it is easy to be blocked. If it is used as the end sterilization of water purification equipment, it needs to be replaced in 1-2 years. The ceramic filter element can generally be used for 10-12 months, and a good ceramic filter element can be used for 3-5 years or even longer.
Replace signal:
1. Too slow water making: whether the pre filter element or reverse osmosis membrane is blocked;
2. Make water too fast (fill a bucket in less than an hour): reverse osmosis membrane is damaged;
3. Poor taste: the service life of the post activated carbon filter element has expired; The removal rate of RO membrane is less than 75%: the service life of reverse osmosis membrane has reached.
The calculation formula of membrane removal rate is: RO membrane removal rate = (raw water TDS value - pure water TDS value) * 100% / raw water TDS value
Maintenance:
1. The hydraulic oil filter element is the core part of the filter. The filter element is composed of special materials and belongs to vulnerable parts, which need special protection and maintenance.
2. After the filter in the system works for a period of time, the hydraulic oil filter element in the filter has intercepted a certain amount of polluting impurities. At this time, the pressure increases, the flow will gradually decrease, and the transmitter will remind the alarm. At this time, it is necessary to clean the impurities in the filter element in time and clean the filter element.
3. In the process of cleaning the filter element, we must pay attention that the hydraulic oil filter element shall not be deformed or damaged. Otherwise, it can not be used again, so as not to affect the filtration efficiency and damage the whole system.
Replacement method:
Water usually overflows during this process. Please prepare cleaning appliances such as water basin or towel:
a) Turn off electroplating ball valve and pressure barrel ball valve;
b) Open the gooseneck faucet to drain the residual water in the pipeline;
c) When the water no longer flows out, open the filter housing with filter element with filter housing wrench;
d) Take out the old Ge filter element and install a new filter element of the same specification;
e) Coat the black "O" ring above the filter housing with lubricant such as Vaseline, and then put the "O" ring into the groove in the filter housing.
f) Tighten the filter housing vertically to avoid displacement of the "O" ring.
g) Open the electroplating ball valve and pressure barrel ball valve.
